In March 2009 I have paid one lakh rupees for a Canada Visa for my brother (Joy JL ) through Jomol Benny (Jhomol Benny). She cheated us for almost 18 months
saying that the visa process is going on ...and so many other hard core lies. Finally she stopped taking calls from my mobile. I have paid one lakh as direct bank
transfer to her account (50 k + 50k). In fact I never seen her or even dont have her contact address...as I just trusted her by the way she talks....and more over she is from a famous Catholic family(her brother is a Priest). I was not having any of her contact address or office address, but just based on the trust I trasnfered the money. (Great mistake that I did...:( )

I have never seen such a lady in my life who can convince people by just talking...she said so many lies to me for the past 18 months. So many times I
blindly believed her.. couple of examples which she said for the delay in Visa Process :-
1) SSLC Certificate verification going on (almost 1.5 months she said the same)
2) PDC Certificate verification going on..
3) Her parents died in between..
4) Sending emails from Bangalore and updating me that its send from Canada.
5) She didnt even took my call or called me back and when I asked why, she replied back that her mobile is changed and so lost all contacts.
6) I still remember the way she talked to me at the beginning.
7) Once she told me that She struck badly in erode because of harthal. One that day in fact she promised that she will return back the one lakh to me. After
that she cleaverly stops taking calls from my mobile for almost 2 month. I really got tensed as I was not having any other contact with her apart from that
mobile number.

Finally by Gods grace with some ones help(dont want to mention who is he) I could find that her Husband is working for Vellara Travels Bangalore(Mr Benny). He also acted very smart with me when I contacted him first time, in fact he was verbally shouting at me asking who gave his contact number and all.. They might have thought I will not track them and find the contact number.. again Thanks goes to that person who helped me to trace them). At one point he even said that I might have paid the money to some other Jomol as there are so many other Jomols in the world.

In the mean time I started putting all pressure to them through different available sources to me(by calling continuously to Vellara Travels asking for
Benny, through Mr Benny's relatives..) etc
Then one fine day he gave the address of his house and I met him there. Asked me to come again after 15 days... again I went there after 15 days... he gave
me a check for 1 lakh putting some future date. Again I waited till that X day and deposited the same. As expected it got Rejected. Again follow up
....another one more month gone in between. IN between he even stopped taking calls from my mobile.. Finally on June 9th 2010 his driver called me acting as if mr Benny is not in Bangalore and hand over 50,000 rs to me. again continous follow up for the another 50k..... by first week of July I got the remaining 50k also... Thank God...

Not sure whether they trapped some one else and gave their money to us or not.
Because one of my brothers friend got a refund from these people just after we paid one lakh to them. For my brothers friend, as he didnt cleared IELTS these
people got enough time to play with him.


I dont want anybody else to do the same mistake as what I did. So be very careful while handing over money for any canada visa..especially Jomol Benny (Jhomol Benny). Remember she have one SBI account in Electronic city and one in South Indian Bank.

So what we gained by Trusting this Good Samaritan is
1.My brother lost his 1.7 years of career.
2.He has to write IELTS once again as the validy for the first exam was just 2 years.
3.IELTS Exam Coatching and Exam Fee...around 20k.
4.Interest for 1 lakh rupees for almost 1.6 years.
